Install on Windows

Cloud Link for Windows is an x64 NSIS installer with the system-tray app and bundled OpenCode and cloudflared. The installer is currently unsigned.

  • 64-bit Windows.
  • WebView2. The installer provisions it when it is missing.
  • An active Cloud Link subscription in OpenCode Mobile.

Windows ARM64 is not supported by the current installer.

  1. Download opencode-cloudlink_windows_amd64.exe.
  2. Optionally verify the SHA-256 hash against the matching sidecar. See Install overview.
  3. Run the installer. It installs for the current user and includes an uninstaller.
  4. Launch OpenCode CloudLink from the Start menu.

The app starts quietly in the notification area. Closing its window hides it; it does not quit the connector.

The installer is not code-signed. Windows SmartScreen may show a warning before it runs. Verify the SHA-256 sidecar and confirm the file came from the official GitHub release before choosing to continue. Do not bypass the warning for a file from another source.

  1. Open the tray icon and choose the pair action to show a temporary QR code.
  2. In OpenCode Mobile, open Settings → Cloud Link and subscribe or restore your purchase if needed.
  3. Scan the QR code.
  4. Review the claiming device name on the computer and choose Approve.

The tunnel starts only after approval. The code expires after five minutes and works once. Use Pair device for a fresh code.

See Pair with OpenCode Mobile for the complete flow.

The tray popover shows OpenCode, Tunnel, Proxy, and Keep awake status. Use it to connect or disconnect, retry a failed connection, open the managed OpenCode window, show or copy remote browser credentials, regenerate the browser password, and open Settings.

See User manual and Settings reference.

Enable Settings → Startup → Start automatically on login. The connector launches quietly for the current Windows user. The per-user Run entry is removed by the uninstaller.

Settings → Power → Keep awake can prevent idle sleep while agents are active or a remote device is connected. It is off by default. It does not prevent display sleep and never overrides explicit or closed-lid sleep. On Windows it uses the native execution-state API.

  1. Open the tray popover and choose Quit.
  2. Open Settings → Apps → Installed apps.
  3. Find OpenCode CloudLink and choose Uninstall.

The uninstaller removes the application and the per-user startup entry. Saved configuration and credentials are retained for a future reinstall. To remove them explicitly, delete %APPDATA%\opencode-cloudlink. Native credentials may need to be removed from Windows Credential Manager.

Uninstalling does not delete the machine from your Cloud Link account. Delete the machine in OpenCode Mobile to retire its tunnel and DNS record.

  • SmartScreen blocks the installer: verify the checksum and the download source before continuing.
  • The tray icon is missing: launch the app again and check the notification area overflow. The app starts quietly.
  • The window does not appear: closing hides it; use the tray icon to reopen it.
  • A port is already in use: stop the other process, or change the OpenCode or proxy port in Settings while disconnected.
  • Tunnel credentials are rejected: use Pair device or Settings → Remove saved connection, then pair again.
  • The app retries and stops: open the tray popover, read the sanitized reason, fix it, and choose Retry.
