Get started

From download to connected in a few minutes.

OpenCode Cloud Link runs on the machine that already hosts your OpenCode project. Pair it once with the OpenCode Mobile app and your machine stays reachable.

Install and run

  1. 01

    Get the app and subscribe

Install OpenCode Mobile for Android or iOS and subscribe to OpenCode Cloud Link (€2.99 per month). Your subscription is tied to your app store account, so restoring it on a new phone is automatic.

  2. 02

Install Cloud Link on your machine

Download the connector for the machine that runs your OpenCode project. On macOS, open the DMG and drag the app into Applications. On Linux, extract the archive and keep its bundled tools together.

    # macOS: open the DMG and move the app to Applications
    # Linux:
    tar -xzf OpenCodeCloudLink-Linux-x64.tar.gz
    cd OpenCodeCloudLink-Linux-x64
  3. 03

    Pair with your phone

Launch Cloud Link. It shows a one-time QR code and starts managing your local OpenCode server. Open OpenCode Mobile, choose to pair a machine, and scan the code. Pairing links this machine to your subscription.

  4. 04

    Keep it running

On macOS the app lives in the menu bar and reconnects on its own; enable start at login if you want it always available. On Linux, run it in the foreground, or install the optional systemd user service.

    # Linux: run in the foreground
    ./opencode-connect run --working-directory /your/project

    # optional, after pairing once:
    systemctl --user enable --now opencode-connect.service
  5. 05

    Connect from anywhere

Open OpenCode Mobile and select this machine. It connects to the stable address Cloud Link published, and you can start, watch, and steer your agent without touching the laptop.

Tip: keep Cloud Link running on the machine that owns your workspace. Your repository, provider keys, and build tools never leave it.

What happens behind the scenes

Cloud Link starts a private OpenCode server bound to your machine only, then publishes an authenticated address for it. Every request from your phone must carry a signed, expiring device credential, so nothing reaches your OpenCode unless it is your device. Our control plane only establishes the connection and keeps connection metadata; it never sees prompts, responses, source, or credentials.

Common questions

Do I need a Cloudflare account?

No. Cloud Link provisions and supervises a managed tunnel, including DNS and TLS. There is nothing to configure and no account to create.

What if the tunnel drops?

Cloud Link reconnects the existing tunnel on its own after restarts or network changes. Re-pairing is only needed if you reset the machine.

Which project does it serve?

The one you point it at. On macOS set the working folder in Settings; on Linux pass --working-directory. It defaults to your home directory.
