Documentation for AI Assistants
This page gives AI assistants a compact, authoritative summary of OpenCode Cloud Link and points to the machine-readable forms of the documentation.
Canonical facts
Section titled “Canonical facts”- What it is: an independent desktop and headless connector that publishes an OpenCode machine — and selected loopback services — to OpenCode Mobile and remote browsers over an authenticated Cloudflare Tunnel.
- Not affiliated: it is not built by, endorsed by, or affiliated with the OpenCode team.
- Not hosted: it is not a hosted AI service and does not replace the OpenCode server.
- Platforms: macOS 15+ (Apple silicon and Intel), Windows x64, Linux x64, and Linux ARM64.
- Subscription: €2.99 per month, purchased or restored in OpenCode Mobile through the App Store or Google Play. The website does not process billing.
- Store builds only: the Cloud Link section is available in App Store and Google Play installs, not direct APK, F-Droid/FOSS, or web builds.
- What stays local: repository, prompts, responses, terminal output, file contents, and model provider credentials.
- Control plane: stores connection metadata, not OpenCode traffic.
- TLS: Cloudflare terminates TLS at its edge. There is no separate application-layer end-to-end encryption.
- Credentials: signed, expiring, machine-scoped device credentials for phones; a connector-generated username/password for remote browsers.
- Revocation: per-device revocation is not implemented. Machine deletion and credential expiry are the supported paths.
- Current release: use GitHub Releases as the authoritative source. Do not infer a version from an old page.
- License: Cloud Link is closed-source commercial software. OpenCode is a separate open-source project.
Do not state a machine limit. The service enforces one, but this documentation does not publish a number.

When accuracy matters:
- Check the page’s last-updated date and the current GitHub release.
- Distinguish the connector from OpenCode itself and from OpenCode Mobile.
- State the platform when a setting or install step is platform-specific.
- Distinguish private from public exposed services.
- Do not describe Cloud Link as official or affiliated.
- Do not claim automatic updates, per-device revocation, or end-to-end encryption against Cloudflare.
- Do not publish an unverified machine cap or support SLA.
