Frequently Asked Questions

It is an independent desktop and headless connector that publishes the OpenCode server on your machine to OpenCode Mobile and remote browsers over an authenticated Cloudflare Tunnel.

Yes. The subscription, store purchase, and phone pairing flow live in OpenCode Mobile. A remote browser can use the machine after pairing, but it does not replace the app.

No. Cloud Link provisions and supervises a managed named tunnel, including DNS and TLS. You do not configure a tunnel or create a Cloudflare account.

macOS 15 or newer on Apple silicon and Intel, Windows x64, and headless Linux on x64 or ARM64. Windows ARM64 and Linux armv7 are not supported.

€2.99 per month, purchased as an auto-renewing subscription in OpenCode Mobile through the App Store or Google Play. This website does not bill you.

They stay on your machine. The control plane stores connection metadata, not prompts, responses, source, terminal output, file contents, or provider credentials. Cloudflare terminates TLS at its edge while proxying traffic.

Section titled “Does Cloud Link work with OpenCode’s built-in remote access?”

Yes. It runs alongside opencode pair --remote and can adopt an existing trusted loopback server. Cloud Link adds approval-gated pairing, per-device credentials, a stable address, remote browser access, and local service exposure.

Can I reach other local apps, not just OpenCode?

Section titled “Can I reach other local apps, not just OpenCode?”

Yes. Publish a loopback service by path or port through the same tunnel. Services are disabled and private by default and use an origin separate from OpenCode. See Exposed services.

Device credentials expire, and you can regenerate the browser password to sign out remote browsers. Delete the machine in OpenCode Mobile to retire its tunnel and DNS record. Per-device revocation is not implemented.

Yes. Use the Linux x64 or ARM64 archive, pair once in the foreground, and optionally enable the systemd user service. No graphical session is required.

No. Cloud Link is a closed-source commercial connector. OpenCode itself is open source at opencode.ai.

No. Download the current release and install it over the existing version. Pairing state and settings normally survive. See Releases and updates.

What happens when my subscription expires?

Section titled “What happens when my subscription expires?”

New access is suspended. After terminal expiry or revocation, Cloud Link retires the machine’s tunnel and DNS record. Restoring the purchase recovers the same account, but a retired machine needs fresh pairing.

Section titled “Does Cloud Link work in direct APK or web builds?”

The Cloud Link subscription and machine-management surfaces are available only in App Store and Google Play installs. Existing connection profiles may still work in other builds, but those surfaces are hidden.
